10 Best Free Graphic Design Tools I Use
Graphic design is not just a profession for me, but a form of creative expression. I have used a variety of Graphic Design Tools along the way. I have been working as a freelance graphic designer on logos, posters, brochures, and web designs for various clients. But many of the most effective and convenient tools are free.
10 Best Free Graphic Design Tools I Use

Today, I want to share with you 10 free graphic design tools that I use, which have made my work easier and more efficient.
- https://www.canva.com/Canva: When I need to quickly create a social media post or presentation, I use Canva. Its easy-to-use interface and thousands of templates save me time.
- Photopea: When I need a tool like Photoshop but for the web, I use Photopea. It’s a great tool for editing PSD files, especially when I don’t have access to Adobe software offline.
- Krita: Sometimes I enjoy painting, and Krita is my go-to tool for that. This open-source tool offers a lot of features for digital painting.
- Figma: When I work on UI/UX projects, I use the free version of Figma. It’s a great platform for collaborating with clients and showing off prototypes.
- Unsplash: I often use high-resolution photos from Unsplash to use on posters and websites. This tool makes it easy for me to create professional designs.
- Google Fonts: Typography plays a big role in every design. I often choose great fonts from Google Fonts.
- Coolors: I use Coolors when choosing a color palette. Its intuitive interface helps me create a suitable scheme for branding.
- Blender: I‘ve also been dabbling in 3D design recently, and powerful free software like Blender has helped me a lot with modeling and animation.
- Vectr: I sometimes use Vectr to create simple icons or logos. It’s especially useful for projects that need to be designed in a short time.
- Icons8: Whenever I need icons for a client project, I go with Icons8. Their large collection saves me time.
I’ve personally used all of these tools — and in my experience, even free tools can produce great results. If you’re new to design, start with these tools.
